Vital Appointment Transportation

A Ride She Can Count On

“I don’t know what I’d do without them,” says Lynn Patton of Westminster. “I can’t even say how much the Red Cross Transportation Service means to me.” Patton, who has multiple sclerosis and other chronic health conditions, can’t drive herself to her doctor appointments and has no one else who can take her.

Transportation Services: Helping Those Who Can't Drive from Door Through Door.

For more than 40 years, the Mile High Chapter Red Cross Transportation Service team has provided elderly, chronically ill and disabled-individuals low-cost transportation service to and from their vital medical appointments and other important appointments.

Red Cross cars and vans, driven by volunteers, can be seen all over the metro area helping those who have no other affordable means of transportation. Our service is able to accommodate people with many specific and unique needs with door-through-door service

Currently, these services are only available in the Mile High Chapter Service Area.
