Cancellation of a class by the Red Cross
The Red Cross may cancel a course if less than six (6) participants are enrolled. Participants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance if the course must be cancelled, and participants will receive a course refund or be rescheduled to another class.
In the Denver Metro region, if you ever have a doubt whether your class will be held, you may call our class status line at (303) 765-3419. The message on this line is updated daily and will give you the latest cancellation or postponement information. There are instances where 24-hour notification is not possible (due to weather for example), please check the class status line at (303) 765-3419 if you suspect your class may be cancelled due to weather.)
For other areas, please contact your local chapter for information about cancellations.
