Teaching Others to Save Lives
CPR/First Aid Instructors
Teach people how to perform CPR or provide first aid. People who complete American Red Cross CPR and first aid courses are prepared to respond to an emergency situation that could save a life. Teaching life-saving skills helps you keep current with your own certifications and contributes to the overall readiness of your community in case of an emergency.
Some previous experience making presentations or training is preferred. Volunteer instructors must be able to pass a background check. Time Commitment: Teach 12 classes per year
Babysitting Instructors
Teach youth ages 11 to 14 how to respond to an emergency and help an infant or young child by administering first aid or CPR. Class graduates are fully prepared to be babysitters by receiving their American Red Cross certification in babysitting skills. Have fun sharing life and entrepreneurial skills and get in touch with youthful energy!
Time Commitment: Teach 12 classes per year.
